Our story
BookmyStay started because most Tanzanian hosts were paying 15–18% commission to international platforms that didn't accept mobile money — leaving guests stranded at check-in trying to settle their bills.
We built a Swahili-and-English platform with native M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa and Airtel Money rails, lower fees for hosts, and a local team you can call.
